Mod Carousel’s “Blurred Lines” got me thinking…

I’ll go ahead and admit I’m obsessed with Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines.” It’s playing everywhere here in Paris pubs and clubs, and when I finally looked up the music video on YouTube I was too busy thinking about how awesome the hashtag branding was throughout the video (and staring at Robin Thicke).

I think what Mod Carousel’s doing here is absolutely amazing – instead of blaming objectifying women on the media, they just changed people’s perspective, and all the problems become obvious.

Don’t blame it on the media; blame the people behind the media. However, through media, we are also able to do something about sexism and other discriminations as well.

Let me know what you think about Robin Thicke’s music video and Mod Carousel’s parody in the comments below!!
